Little Nightmares II
Unsettling imagery creates noxious, macabre atmosphere. Worse still is when said imagery is grounded in semblances of reality (apart from maybe those floating hospital beds). The absolute worst, viewing these grotesque visages through the eyes of a child. This is where Little Nightmares II succeeds. Sure, mechanically speaking this sequel surpasses its predecessor, but Little Nightmares II is simply better in conveying the horror in its imagery, especially during the harrowing evasion of exceptionally creepy enemies The Hunter and The Teacher.
