The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
When Link is indisposed, who else can save the Kingdom of Hyrule but Zelda herself? Echoes of Wisdom marks the first title to star the princess as a protagonist, complete with the adorable aesthetic of the Link’s Awakening remake. The Tri-Rod, which allows players to harness Echoes of objects and enemies, provides a surprising amount of freedom for solving puzzles and resolving conflicts. Meanwhile, the world and dungeons capture that old-school Zelda feel with their puzzles and layouts. As Zelda’s first real starring role, Echoes of Wisdom is fantastic, and you’ll spend an inordinate time hunting down every last Echo for your collection.
