Klei Entertainment’s Mark of the Ninja was born from the desire to have more stealthy ninjas in video games. It introduced a whole new kind of side-scrolling action game with its difficulty and line-of-sight mechanics while also offering an interesting story and gorgeous art style. For all the punishing stealth side-scrollers released since then, Mark of the Ninja is still an absolute classic.
