The original Fable had extraordinary hype, but Lionhead’s reach exceeded its grasp. Fable 2 improved in nearly every aspect, offering free exploration with one’s decisions affecting their appearance. You could purchase property to unlock more quests, become king or queen of the land, get married, take on various jobs, and much more. It was everything a fantasy RPG life simulator could offer and delivered in every way.
