ZACK MIGHT STILL BE ALIVE
This in another major, major change, and it’s very likely in here because of the Whispers. Final Fantasy 7 Remake shows Zack’s last stand against Shinra forces outside of Midgar, but while we’ve always known that to be the moment he dies, the remake changes that up, and he actually manages to survive, and is seen heading toward Midgar with Cloud. Is it possible that by destroying the Whispers, Cloud and co might have actually been able to change events in the past as well? More importantly, if Zack is still alive, what does that mean for Cloud and his backstory? Because Zack’s death was a pretty crucial turning point for him that defined much of what came next in his life. It’ll be interesting to see how the sequels handle this.
