Another version of Iudex Gundyr, the first boss you ever fight in Dark Souls 3, doesn’t seem like much of a threat. Plus he doesn’t have that creepy black mass serpent flailing wildly. This should be easy, right? Wrong. Champion Gundyr is relentless with his combos and mix-ups, giving you almost no time to rest. He can attack from silly ranges and requires proper timing to parry. Even with all that in mind, you’re in for a fight.
