Handsome Jack – Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel/Borderlands 2

At the beginning of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Jack was described as “in over his head.” He often came across as bumbling though fairly intelligent and sympathetic to his Vault Hunters. Of course, we later learned that he was harnessing the Eye of the Destroyer as a mega-weapon and hunting the Vault for his own nefarious purposes (all while keeping his own daughter imprisoned). Jack would go Handsome by the end and showcase his true psychopathy in Borderlands 2, killing beloved characters and generally being a remorseless jerk throughout.
