G-STAR 2024 is officially underway in South Korea and features a hands-on demo for Nexon’s The First Berserker: Khazan. While it features some previously revealed gameplay, from the game’s beginning in Heinmach to the boss fight with Rangkus, there is some new content. Check out the battle with Volbaino below.
A giant bipedal Elk, Volbaino fights with a large hammer, dealing heavy blows and even finding higher ground to jump off for an attack. As its health drops, it will also pick up a giant flaming nail and flail about indiscriminately. This boss seems tailor-made for the dual-wield axe and sword since it deals extensive damage in a short window. The fast flurry of strikes and leaping buzzsaw skill are especially good at depleting an enemy’s fortitude gauge.
