Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem

Even with all the controversies that Silicon Knights faced, Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem remains a horror classic. Its main claim to fame were the Sanity Effects, which could range from characters suddenly dying to the TV switching off or the walls bleeding (in-game, that is). Such a system had never been attempted before, but on top of that, Eternal Darkness featured an incredible story, spanning multiple eras and playable characters against the backdrop of the terrifying Ancients.
