Push Forward Combat
The new combat system is leaving the old one behind. DOOM will now focus on a much quicker, with tons of momentum. Running and double jumps will be used throughout the game making this a much more modernized game. DOOM will also be introducing the new Push Forward Combat system which discourages players from hiding behind cover, or trying to regain health. This means the game will not have a cover system or health regeneration system. But health and armor packs will be lying around to pick up.
