If you were worried about the lack of lore in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, then FromSoftware has you covered. The story premise is very simple to grasp – young lord is kidnapped by a mysterious samurai, said mysterious samurai cuts off our hero’s arm, our hero swears vengeance. Like the Souls games, there won’t be a lot of cinematics but the story will be “packed with lore”. Will it be as compelling as FromSoftware’s earlier efforts? We can only hope so.
