The Unchained – Mortal Shell
The Unchained is an interesting fight to close out Cold Symmetry’s Souls-like, especially with its multiple phases and annoying hit-boxes. It starts simply enough with swipes and tail sweeps but then it summons waves that can knock you down if you’re not careful. Then it brings in other enemies to attack you while it continues its onslaught. If all of that weren’t enough, it creates a whirlpool that can suck in any of its minions to heal itself (and which insta-kills the player if they wander in). Walk in with the wrong set-up and this fight could be even tougher.
