Completing all of Chadley’s Battle Intel Reports and VR battles will unlock the ability to fight Bahamut. Being max level and having fully upgraded weapons and Materia is just the beginning though. Along with highly damaging attacks, which only become more frequent as his health drops, and Umbral Aura which hits you for unavoidable damage over time, Bahamut will also initiate a five second countdown before casting Mega Flare. Staggering it before the countdown ends is vital lest the party wipes. Being patient and picking opportunities to strike is key but it will still take a couple of tries to succeed.
