Life is Strange – Nightmare Fuel
The final episode of Life is Strange ran into budget problems, which led to a rather cluttered design for how things played out. Nowhere was this more apparent than in the nightmare sequence that Max had to relive, ghoulishly facing up to her insecurities and fears, which psychologically makes for a great theme- but in the game, fell short due to shoehorned stealth sequences, and the whole thing narratively coming out of nowhere. Max deserved a better finale than what Life is Strange’s final episode could muster; thankfully, she did get it in the Farewell episode of Before the Storm, if nothing else
