Super Smash Bros Brawl
The Brawl to end them all, Super Smash Bros Brawl on the Wii was just stuffed to the gills with content, to the point of being the first Wii title to ship on a dual layered disk and making sure that you could smash for years without seeing everything. The main single player mode, Subspace Emissary was a fun romp that took the heroes of Smash through a basic story and unlocked all the characters. In the 11th hour of that mode, just when you’re ready for the showdown to finish everything off with Tabuu, that’s when they decided that they really needed twice as many hours out of you. The Great Maze is a nonsensical mishmash of parts from all the previous stages in the game, which you need to spend many hours in hunting down each and every shadow version of the fighters in a forced retreading of content that really, made us just want to go back to Multiplayer.
