Let’s just get something out of the way right now: Hideki Kamiya is a frickin’ wizard. His resume speaks for itself: Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry, Viewtiful Joe, Okami, Bayonetta. When this man makes an action game, the industry stands up and takes notice. It doesn’t hurt that he’s got the ridiculously talented team at Platinum Games behind him, either. Platinum is truly a mercenary studio; they go with whoever will pay them. As a result, they’ve worked with more publishers over the course of their relatively short existence than most developers do in twice as much time. As things stand now, they’ve made games for Sega, Konami, and Nintendo, and now, they’ve hooked up with Microsoft for Scalebound, a game that I can best describe as Devil May Cry with dragons. Sounds like a match made in heaven to me. Well played, Kamiya. Well played.

Well, that wraps up our look at the Xbox One exclusives coming out in 2015. Of course, more games will no doubt be announced in the coming months, but what do you think of the list as it stands now? Did we get it right? Did we get it wrong? Did we miss a really cool upcoming game? Are there any announcements you’re hoping for, or any titles you think will be delayed? Let us know in the comments, and keep it tuned to GamingBolt for more info on these, and other exciting games, as 2015 draws ever closer.
