Clock Tower 3 veered away from its roots by trying to be a stealth-oriented horror adventure game, as opposed to Clock Tower 1 and 2 which were point-and-click adventures. While the game didn’t manage to garner the best critical or commercial reception, the story was pretty captivating with impressive cutscenes – courtesy of Japanese film director Kinji Fukasaku. As such, a full-fledged remake with improved mechanics would certainly give this game a second shot at life.
