The Falador Massacre – Runescape
The Falador Massacre is one of the more infamous glitches in Runescape, resulting in the widespread looting of helpless players. Essentially, a player invited some friends to his home to celebrate hitting level 99 (it’s a big deal). However, due to lag, everyone had to be kicked. There was a ring for PvP at the house, though, and those inside of it and kicked could still fight other players who could do nothing to defend themselves. This led to a complete rampage, which eventually made its way into the official lore as the Invasion of Falador. But everyone who was there on that day received a grim reminder about player killing and how it could strike at any time.
