While Konami disputes this claim, there’s the unending feeling that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is unfinished. There’re just too many lingering questions: what did Eli get up to with the stolen mech? How did he morph into Liquid Snake? How did Big Boss establish Outer Heaven? What happened to the Diamond Dogs? How was Grey Fox recruited? What happened to Dr Pettrovich? A sequel could easily follow directly after the events of MGSV, there’s enough there for a gargantuan story.
