Duke Nukem
This one’s a bit more obtuse so bear with us. Duke Nukem, when he was still a side-scrolling platformer, used assets from Mega Man and Turrican. This ranges from projectile effects and environmental objects from Turrican to radioactive waste barrels from Mega Man. We never really took Duke to be the honest sort so kudos to staying in character we suppose.
