BATTLEBORN
To be fair to Battleborn, it wasn’t a game without its redeeming qualities- the shooting felt solid and some of the characters were undeniably fun to play as. Ultimately, however, it felt prey to a lot of the issues that so many hero shooters end up falling to, and emerged as little more than an unimaginative multiplayer experience that was middling at best. The fact that just a few weeks later, the original Overwatch came along and took the genre by storm certainly didn’t help matters for Gearbox’s shooter.
