Karateka
Break into a warlord’s fortress and save the princess – how hard could this be? Karateka for the Apple-II upped the stakes by having you, a battle-hardened warrior, facing off against waves of the warlord Akuma’s soldiers. Fighting them off is no easy task since the combat plays out more akin to a fighting game. There are also falling portcullis, Akuma’s hawk and other hazards to deal with en route to saving the princess Mariko. Lose all your health or make a mistake and it’s right back to the beginning.
