The original Homefront was unique for its take on the military shooter. Its plot, which was set in an America that had been taken over by an annexed Korea, was politically charged and fun to shoot your way through. But at the end of the day, it was still a fairly basic shooter with lackluster multiplayer and a fun but short campaign. It was different enough to still sell more than 2 million units.
