Thanks to leaks, we already know that the Sledgehammer-developed Call of Duty WW2: Vanguard is going to launch later this year, but there’s just no way this game is going to be announced at E3. Call of Duty has had that exclusive marketing deal with PlayStation for a few years now, so there’s just no place at E3 for the game to be announced or shown off. Besides, Activision now generally likes to do things its own way with CoD announcements rather than relying on events, which makes an E3 appearance even more unlikely.
