PETER DINKLAGE’S GHOST IN DESTINY

Destiny Ghost

Peter Dinklage is a phenomenal actor, one who’s taken the world by storm with his long list of great roles, most of all as Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones- so when we heard that he’d be playing a major role in Bungie’s Destiny, we were obviously quite excited. That excitement soon turned into disappointment though, because… well, he wasn’t very good. Every word that Ghost spoke was dripping with a flat boredom and the clear sense of not wanting to be here, and considering how much players hear his voice throughout Destiny, that grated even more. Bungie would eventually go on to replace Dinklage entirely, with the much more emotive Nolan North- and though we never could have imagined it’d be the case before the game had launch, we were all thankful for the change.
