SHENMUE
Shenmue holds a dear place in the hearts of many- and rightfully so. It’s an excellent game that was far ahead of its time and was unwavering in its commitment to its creative vision. But did it have some of the worst voice acting ever. From NPCs greeting Ryo in the most exaggerated manner possible, to Ryo wondering if he should get another capsule toy, to “looking for sailors”- it’s just brimming with lines that are weirdly delivered and repeated way too often.
