Nightmarish Faces – MLB The Show 17
Some bugs don’t make it into the final game but still manage to elicit horror before release. MLB The Show 17 is a great example – before launch, Sony San Diego showcased a “funny video” (their words, not ours) with some graphical glitches. These turned out to be a pair of character heads, one that looked like a mess of hair with no face while the other appeared to be a honeycomb made of human flesh. Though said bugs were quashed, they live on in many a developer’s nightmares.
