ORNSTEIN AND SMOUGH (DARK SOULS)

You know what’s harder than a Dark Souls boss fight? Childbirth. But also, two Dark Souls boss fights, at the same fricking time. And that’s exactly what this encounter against Ornstein and Smough is. This deadly duo of a close-range hitter and a long-range striker has been the reason for many broken controllers, and continues to be to this day. Even once you take one of them down, the fight doesn’t get much easier, since the remaining boss absorbs the power of his fallen comrade to become even more powerful. If ever you wanted to show someone how gleefully sadistic the Souls franchise can be, this would be a perfect demonstration.
