LARGER OPEN WORLD

NO, CALM DOWN- we don’t want an absolutely massive overworld like what we’ve seen in The Witcher 3 and Skyrim. We don’t want every developer to shoehorn an open world into their games (looking at you, Metal Gear Solid). However, looking back at how Persona 3 and 4 were structured, we feel like there is definitely potential for a larger explorable world in Persona 5. Even from a narrative point of view- it’s set in Tokyo. There’s gottabe more to do (more on this in a bit) and see. We don’t want Persona 5 to have an area that can compete with Gran Pulse or Gaur Plains. We just want maybe a handful of new areas- four or five over the half dozen or so we had in P3 and 4 would do. Thankfully, the Tokyo Games Show trailer for Persona 5 indicated that that will indeed be the case.
