What began as a troubled product for Sony eventually morphed into one of the best racing sims ever. The visuals sold it, delivering realistic cars and tracks that could compete with the best (the weather physics alone are worth the price of admission). Yet Evolution Studios built on this further with new content, effects, and more, turning it into a classic.
