The Creative Assembly and Sega have always won their fans’ hearts with their Total War games, and Three Kingdoms has turned out to be no different- except perhaps this time, they’ve delivered one of the best games in the series in many years. Taking the Total War formula and melding it with new mechanics to fit the vibe of the historic Chinese conflicts and their romanticized retellings perfectly, Three Kingdoms is an excellent game that has reminded everyone just how good Total War can be when it is at its absolute best.
