JUST CAUSE 4
This one was kind of an obvious pick, because Just Cause 4’s open world impresses in all the ways that basically all of its predecessors do. Avalanche’s flagship series has always been best known for its bombastic action and chaotic destruction, and all of that is on full display in Just Cause 4. Add to that ridiculously over-the-top weather effects and expanded traversal and movement mechanics, and what you get is a sandbox that you can mess about in endlessly.
