Minecraft isn’t the only game of its kind though. It may be the pioneer of an entire genre (or at least the game that popularized it among the masses), but there have been others that do what it does as well. Dragon Quest Builders is one such game, but in many ways, it’s also quite different. So where building stuff in Minecraft is about creativity, in Builders, it’s more about defense and strategy. There is, of course, the free play mode as well, which is more on line with Minecraft’s free-form creation. Regardless of what mode you’re playing though, sinking hours into Builders at a stretch is very, very easy.
