Sweet Home
In the Derelict House VHS, we see a documentary film crew investigating the Baker Estate and eventually discovering the horrors within. Unbeknownst to most, this is pretty much the exact same set-up for Sweet Home, the 1989 NES title that heavily inspired the Resident Evil franchise, which saw a five-man documentary crew exploring a haunted mansion. Which is funny because the very first iteration of the VHS, namely the Beginning Hour Teaser, had its fair share of ghosts as well.
