You know, many, many years ago, I watched this scene for the first time on the Sega Saturn (yes, I was one of those kids) and felt sad. Now, all these years later, it’s amazing how outright awful the voice acting is. Iris’s accent feels out of place but even more so because of the weird tone. Then there’s the godawful writing with such gems as, “Please stay away from Repliforce. Let’s live together in a world where only Reploids exist.” Maybe you shouldn’t have fought me to the death then, Iris!
