Salt and Sacrifice
Unlike its predecessor, Salt and Sacrifice takes a more Monster Hunter-like approach to its boss fights. You’ll track down Mages, fight them, and use their parts to craft better armor and weapons. The problem is fighting through multiple foes while chasing them and eventually dealing enough damage for a proper fight. Each boss is tough (exacerbated by even tougher versions of the same), and the mechanics offer almost no protection against being launched or stunlocked. Having to grind materials for healing potions also doesn’t help, especially when dying to the same boss again and again.
