For all its gorgeous looks, Trek to Yomi is unfortunately not Flying Wild Hog’s best effort. The combat features mechanics like stunning and parrying, but the latter feels completely random. Sometimes, the difficulty comes from performing unintended moves, or movement briefly stopping for no reason. It’s possible to work around, but still frustrating.
