DAYS GONE
Days Gone was a major step down from the kind of stuff Sony Worldwide Studios have been putting out this generation. That’s not to say there isn’t stuff to like here- the story, the performances of the actors, the systemic nature of its open world are things that make this a game worth experiencing. But there’s issues that cannot be ignored as well, including a by-the-numbers approach to open world design, tons of bugs and technical issues, and a general lack of polish. In the end, is Days Gone good? Yes, it is. But is it as good as it should have been, and we expected it to be? Sadly, no.
