FABLE 3
Fable as a franchise always had a reputation for overpromising, thanks to the outspoken Peter Molyneux, but where previous games still ended up being excellent titles, Fable 3 was far less convincing in what it set out to do. The story was forgettable, the combat was boring and extremely simplified, there was a host of technical issues to deal with, and by and large, the game simply didn’t have the sort of charm and personality that its two predecessors were overflowing with. Fable 3 is not a game without redeeming qualities, of course, but all said and done, it’s definitely the weakest entry in the series.
