DUKE NUKEM FOREVER

When a game in a franchise as massive (or what once used to be massive) as Duke Nukem launches after being in development for fifteen years, it has to be exceptional. Well, not only was Duke Nukem Forever not exceptional, it was just downright awful. Horrible shooting mechanics, extremely dated level design, clunky controls, and a massive pile of technical issues and bugs dragged the game down to no end- and that was just a few of its many major problems. Add to that offensive humour and poor writing that didn’t seem to know that the game was coming out fifteen years after it was supposed to, and what we had was one of the biggest, most high-profile flops of its time in every sense of the word.
