DAYS GONE

From the moment it was first revealed, Days Gone was being hyped as one of the best zombie games of all time. It certainly had the potential to surpass those expectations: a big open world, different kinds of zombies and a story that looked like it will be intriguing. Unfortunately, most of it, if not all, was undercooked. The story took a lot of time to get going , as did the gameplay. The open world aspects were borrowed from several well known franchises and the game failed to add its own spice to the formula. Fortunately, the game started to pick up during its second half but by that time, it was a case of too little and too late. The developer supported the game for months after the game launched, and a PC version came out earlier this year, but all of it wasn’t enough to heal an already damaged IP.
