Ninja Gaiden 2

The scary part about Team Ninja’s Ninja Gaiden 2? It’s actually one of their most fun games till date and yet, it isn’t even as difficult as the old NES Ninja Gaiden titles. Also, ninja dogs. The ninja dogs are very scary. Just imagine dogs that leap around like ninjas and toss explosives, murdering you on any level higher than Easy. Now throw them in one of the first segments of the first stage of the first LEVEL. Die, resurrect, repeat. Ninja Gaiden has always had an unhealthy habit of throwing unfairly powerful mid bosses as regular foes. Heck, it has a habit of making previous actual mid-bosses as regular enemies.

You’ll need to counter, block, slice, dodge and also replace one of your eyes with the Sharingan to properly predict the movements of your foes. Again, when you enter the zone and start slicing up ninja puppies left and right, Ninja Gaiden 2 is a blast. When you’re facing multitudes of foes that outright decimate you in seconds? Not so much.
