Give Up
Give Up is one of those massively difficult 2D platformers that not only doesn’t like you but makes very little secret of it. Take GLaDOS’s mocking undertones and replace them with sheer begging to have you hit the big blue “Give Up” button. You don’t want to give up? That’s perfectly cool, as you’ll be able to traverse through a large laboratory wrought with spikes, lasers, cannons, falling platforms and other miseries. The game seemingly escalates in difficulty in no time at all, pushing you harder and harder to give up. So here’s our question – why even try in the first place?
