Aliens: Colonial Marines

Have you watched the Aliens movie? If you have, you will be at home here. Aliens: Colonial Marines is being made by Gearbox Software and published by SEGA for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U. You control four marines who have their own personality but only one marine can be controllable at a time. Immersion is one of the important USP for the game, so there is no HUD here. This is shaping up to be an awesome game.

Borderlands 2

Borderlands, despite the several flaws it had, was an excellent game. it was quirky, it was hilarious, it was refreshing, it was deep, it was complex, and most importantly, it was a hell lot of fun. Borderlands 2 seems to be bigger and better than the original- it has a bigger game world, more RPG elements, more weapons, more characters, and a larger focus on story. It looks great so far, even though we’ve not seen much of it, but we’re super-excited for it.

Dust 514

Dust 514 is exclusive for the PS3 on consoles and is available on the PC as well. Made by CCP of the Eve Online fame, the game looks amazing on the PS3. It’s a MMO of course, but that is also what CCP is good at. The ground fights you do affects the Eve Online universe as a whole, so it is certainly an ambitious game. It will be released next year.

BioShock: Infinite

If you’ve seen anything related to this game, you shouldn’t even be asking why this is on this list. If you haven’t, you still shouldn’t be asking. Not only is it on this list simply because it’s a BioShock game, but also because it- looks- fucking- awesome. The gameplay is breathtaking, the world of Columbia looks epic, marvelously created. The art style is great and the game also consists of the breathtaking, relentless action and momentous set pieces that the BioShock series is known for.

Doom 4 (RUMOURED)

Aah, Doom 4. Well, this game is in development at id Software but it hasn’t been officially announced yet. You know what to expect here. It’s going to be a hardcore FPS game, knowing id’s lineage. It also uses id tech 5, so expect some massive technical improvement over Doom 3. It’s been a while since I played an old school FPS game, so I’m so stoked for this. Come on id, show the world you still rock.
