DESTINY
It would be fair to say that Destiny was probably one of the most hyped and highly anticipated video game releases we’ve seen- well, ever. And it was by no means a bad game, of course- millions of people have clocked in dozens, if not hundreds, of hours into Bungie’s looter shooter. But like so many live service games, when it launched, it was seriously lacking in content, which led to some of its best ideas feeling like they were only half-formed. With the release of The Taken King, Destiny would eventually go on to live up to the incredible potential that it always had, but at launch, the game proved to be a major disappointment to many, many people.
