RENEGADE X
Command and Conquer: Renegade might not be what you expect a typical C&C game to be, but it holds a special place in the hearts of many people. Its fan-made remake, Renegade X, is testament to that. Renegade X is technically not fully out yet, and has been in open beta for a few years, but you don’t need to spend long with it to realize that it’s shaping up very, very well. It captures the tactical action of the original game perfectly, it looks great, and offers exciting large-scale multiplayer battles. Happily enough, both EA and Westwood Studios have been quite supportive of the project, so here’s hoping it continues to make progress.
