“I’m Commander Shepard and this is my favourite store on the Citadel.” – Mass Effect
The line “I’m Commander Shepard” was already hilarious enough in the original Mass Effect trilogy but it was made all the better when players could pledge their support for numerous Citadel stores in Mass Effect 2. This would lead to Shepard stating “I’m Commander Shepard and this is my favourite store on the Citadel.” Bioware actually embraced the meme, as seen in Mass Effect 3 with Garrus proclaiming a certain spot to be his favourite on the Citadel if Shepard misses a shot during their bonding session.
