Retreading Your Grave
Dark Souls is a difficult experience, especially when it comes down to defeating the bosses. However, most of the difficulty – and tedium – can come from trying to survive in the rest of the world. Dying in the middle of an area and having to go through waves and waves of enemies again to get to your souls and subsequently progress forward has the potential to break most gamers. What happens if you die without retrieving your souls? Let’s just not talk about it.
