Open-World Stealth Sections Suck
Stealth sections in open-world titles could be rather dull back in the day. However, that’s far from the norm these days. Horizon: Zero Dawn makes good use of stealth and infiltration, whether it’s in hunting or sneaking through an enemy camp. Watch Dogs 2 wasn’t half-bad, despite Ubisoft veering farther away from hardcore stealth franchises like Splinter Cell (to say nothing of changes to Assassin’s Creed). And Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain offers a wealth of incredible stealth options and methods to fulfill objectives, limited only by one’s creativity.
