Enhanced combat
Remember that really cool moment from Zelda’s 2014 E3 trailer where Link jumps off his horse and shoots at the giant guardian in an extremely cool, slick, slow-motion bullet-time sequence? You can do exactly that in Breath of the Wild itself thanks to the new enhanced combat. Everything from horseback combat (making a return from Twilight Princess) to more elaborate combos (aided by multiple weapon types) to bullet time strikes to dodges and parries and counter-attacks allows for a far more engaging combat experience in Breath of the Wild than in any Zelda game ever before.
